Snow Crab Pasta

How to Make Snow Crab Pasta | Easy Snow Crab Pasta Recipe

Snow crab pasta is an easy way to turn a pound of crab meat into a simple dinner. A little garlic, lemon, butter, and fresh parsley are all you need to build a light sauce that lets the crab stay at the center of the dish.

At Maine Shelled Lobster, we believe good seafood doesn't need a complicated recipe. Our Snow Crab Leg Meat is already cooked and ready to thaw, so this recipe comes together quickly with a few ingredients you probably already have.

Start With Quality Crab

Our Snow Crab Leg Meat is 100 percent snow crab, wild caught and sustainably harvested from the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Because the meat is cooked before it arrives, there's no need for a long cooking process. Thaw what you need, drain it well, and gently warm it at the end.

That last step matters. Snow crab is naturally sweet and delicate, so keeping the heat low helps preserve its texture and flavor.

Simple Snow Crab Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 pound snow crab leg meat, thawed and patted dry

  • 12 ounces linguine or spaghetti

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional

  • 1/4 cup reserved pasta water

  • Kosher salt and pepper, to taste

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

How to Make It

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until just tender. Before draining, reserve about 1/4 cup of the pasta water.

While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, if using, and cook for about a minute
